Short version

Cherry Hunt has no accounts, no ads, and no third-party trackers. Your progress stays on your device. To build the global ranking we send only your anonymous player ID, an auto-generated name, and your best level to a leaderboard endpoint backed by a Google Sheet. That is all — nothing more is collected, and nothing is sold.

What we collect Anonymous player ID, auto-generated display name, best level, plus standard request metadata (IP, user agent).
Where it goes To a leaderboard endpoint backed by a Google Sheet, used only to display the global ranking.
What we never do No selling, no advertising, no profiling, no cross-app tracking, no access to contacts or location.
How to delete Clear app data locally, or email us your in-game display name to remove your ranking row.
1. About this policy

This document describes how Cherry Hunt (the “Game”) and the website you are reading (the “Site”) handle information. It applies to the Android build distributed through Google Play and to this Site.

For any privacy question or request, write to hikmatfisah@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.

2. Age requirement

The Game and the Site are made for players aged 16 or older. We do not intentionally collect data from anyone under 16. If you think someone under 16 has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.

3. What the Game stores on your device

Everything you would expect a puzzle game to remember lives only on your device, in Android’s local storage:

  • your current board and puzzle progress;
  • your best level and best score;
  • your in-game preferences (sound, vibration, theme);
  • an anonymous player identity, described below.

None of this leaves your device unless you complete a game while online, in which case only the leaderboard fields listed in section 4 are sent. Clearing the Game’s app data or uninstalling it erases everything stored locally.

4. The global leaderboard

How your identity is created

The first time you open the Game, it generates two random values directly on your device: an anonymous player ID such as p_7f3a91c4b2e8d056 and a display name such as AmberFalcon512. You never type these, and they are not connected to your name, email, phone number, Google account, or any other real-world identifier.

What is sent when you finish a game

If your device is online, the Game sends a small request to our leaderboard endpoint containing only:

  • your anonymous player ID;
  • your display name;
  • your best reached level;
  • a timestamp.

Where the leaderboard data is stored

Ranking rows are stored in a Google Sheet that the developer owns. The Game talks to this Sheet through a small server-side script that receives the values above, appends or updates the matching row, and returns the current top list. The Sheet is not public: it is not indexed, not embedded on the Site, and not readable through the Game except as the aggregated leaderboard response.

Technical metadata. Like any internet request, the call to our endpoint also carries routine transport data such as your IP address and user agent. This is used only to keep the endpoint working, prevent abuse, and debug failures. It is not stored alongside your ranking row and is not used to identify you.

Playing offline

You can play entirely offline. If there is no connection when a game ends, no leaderboard request is made and nothing is sent anywhere.

5. Permissions the Game requests
  • INTERNET — to fetch and submit leaderboard rows and to open external links such as the Google Play listing when you tap “Rate on Google Play”.
  • VIBRATE — optional haptic feedback during play.

The Game does not request access to your contacts, precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, photos, files, or any other sensitive permission.

6. What the Site does

This page is a static document. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising pixels, and has no login or contact form. The web host may keep ordinary access logs (IP, browser, requested page, timestamp) for security and delivery, under its own policy.

7. Google Play and Google services

When you install or update the Game through Google Play, Google processes information about the download, your device, and any purchases under its own privacy policy. Because the leaderboard is backed by a Google Sheet, Google also acts as the infrastructure provider for that storage. The developer does not control Google’s own processing. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

8. Why we are allowed to process this

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on legitimate interest in operating a working leaderboard and keeping the endpoint secure, and on performance of the service you requested by playing online. We do not use any of this data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

9. How long data is kept

Local game data stays on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the Game. A leaderboard row stays in the Google Sheet until you ask us to remove it or until the leaderboard is retired. Routine transport logs kept by hosting and infrastructure providers follow their own retention schedules.

10. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. The only parties involved in the leaderboard are Google (as the provider of the Sheet and of Google Play services) and the developer. Google may process data in countries other than your own; its own safeguards apply.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Because local data is only on your device, you control it directly: clear the Game’s app data or uninstall the Game. To remove your leaderboard row, email hikmatfisah@gmail.com with your in-game display name (for example AmberFalcon512) and we will delete the matching row.

12. Security

Leaderboard traffic uses HTTPS. The Google Sheet is restricted to the developer’s account, and the endpoint only accepts the fields listed in section 4. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we keep the surface as small as possible: no accounts, no passwords, no emails, no payment data in the Game.

13. Changes to this policy

If the Game, the Site, or the law changes in a way that affects this document, we will publish a new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact

Email: hikmatfisah@gmail.com

We read every message and will respond to privacy requests as quickly as we can, normally within 30 days.
